# V2rayN (recommended)

**We recommend using Windows 10 or later.** 

If you have Windows 7, you need to install a different version of the program.

The necessary requirements (set separately) are .NET Framework 4.8 or higher. 

This version is enabled by default in Windows 8/8.1/10, but for Windows 7 it must be installed separately.

### Downloading and Installing the Program

#### Step 1, 2

After the file has been downloaded, click on it once with the left mouse button.

#### Step 3, 4, 5

Extract the downloaded archive to the desktop.

### First Launch of the Program

#### Step 6

Open the extracted folder.&#x20;

Run the file **v2rayN.exe**

At the first launch of the program - a window may appear that you need to install additional software - **.net 6.0 Desktop Runtime.**&#x20;

If such a window appears, click "Yes". Download and install it.&#x20;

After that, try to launch the program again.

#### Step 7

Open your mailbox. \
Find the email from us with your subscription link. \
Copy the link.

### Setting up Subscription

#### Step 8, 9

Press the button first "**Servers**". \
In the drop-down menu, click: "**Import bulk URL from clipboard**".

#### Step 10, 11

* First press "Subscription group".&#x20;
* Then, in the drop-down menu, click: "Update subscription without proxy".&#x20;
* After this, your list of servers should be updated.
* Remember to repeat steps 10 and 11 at least once a week.

#### Step 12

If you have done everything correctly before, a list of servers should appear.

* Select a server
* Click on it twice with the left mouse button.&#x20;
* If the server is blue, like in the picture, then it is selected.
* Make sure that the Routing mode at the bottom is not "Whitelist", must be "Global"!

Choose the server at your discretion.&#x20;

We recommend choosing the one closest to you.&#x20;

If you are in China, the closest ones will be: Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea.&#x20;

The server in the form of a subscription expiration date does not work.

### Turn on/Turn off VPN <a href="#onoff" id="onoff"></a>

#### Step 13, 14, 15

In the tray (usually at the bottom right), find the "arrow".

Press it and a list of hidden icons will open (13 step).\
Find the program icon (<mark style="color:blue;">**V**</mark>). Right-click on it. (14 step)

**Turn on VPN - "Set system proxy".** \
**The program icon will turn red - you are connected.**

## Troubleshooting <a href="#troubleshooting" id="troubleshooting"></a>

Ensure that the working server is selected.

Make sure the program is loaded correctly, files are not deleted by the antivirus, and the program is located on the DESKTOP.&#x20;

We recommend disabling the antivirus before installation.

### How to update subscription <a href="#update" id="update"></a>

This procedure should be performed at least once a week.

* [x] Disconnect from the VPN, select "Clear System Proxy", the program icon should be blue.
* [x] Open the program window
* [x] Click "Subscription group" button
* [x] Click "Update Subscription without proxies"
* [x] Wait 20-30 seconds and the list of servers will be updated.

### My VPN is not working in my browser

Some Google Chrome extensions can monopolize the connection.&#x20;

Try disabling these extensions and restarting the browser.

### How to change the language in the program?

In the program window on the right, find three dots. Click on them.&#x20;

A pop-up window will appear, the bottommost item is the language change. Change the language.

Restart the program completely.

### How to choose the best server?

*It is important to understand that selecting a server, with an unstable network in China, can be a useful exercise only at the current time, and in a minute the information may no longer be relevant, so use the following instructions only for an approximate understanding.*

1. Run the program and turn off VPN (Clean System Proxy)
2. ctrl+A - select all servers
3. ctrl+R - start the connection testing process
4. wait a long time until the test results appear in the right column
5. ctrl+E - sort servers by connection. If you see -1, then the server could not be connected. If for several days the same server with a mark of -1, report to support.
